King James Version
Deuteronomy • Chapter 30
1
And it shall be when all these things, the blessing and the curse, which I have set before you, come upon you, and you return to your heart among all the nations where the Lord your God has scattered you.
2
And you will return to the LORD your God and listen to His voice, according to all that I command you today, you and your children, with all your heart and with all your soul.
3
And the LORD your God will restore your fortunes and have compassion on you, and He will gather you from all the nations where the LORD your God has scattered you.
4
If you are scattered to the ends of heaven, from there the LORD your God will gather you and from there He will take you.
5
And the Lord your God will bring you to the land which your fathers inherited and you will inherit it, and He will do good to you and multiply you more than your fathers.
6
And the LORD your God will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants to love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul, that you may live.
7
And the LORD your God will put all these curses on your enemies and on those who hate you, who persecuted you.
8
And you shall return and listen to the voice of the LORD and do all My commandments that I command you today.
9
And the Lord your God will leave you in all the work of your hand, in the fruit of your womb, and in the fruit of your livestock, and in the fruit of your ground, for good, because the Lord will again rejoice over you for good as He rejoiced over your fathers.
10
Because you will listen to the voice of the Lord your God to observe His commandments and His statutes which are written in this book of the Torah, and because you will return to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul.
11
For this commandment that I command you today is not too wonderful for you, nor is it far off.
12
It is not in heaven to say, "Who will go up for us to heaven and bring it to us and make us hear it, that we may do it?"
13
And it is not across the sea to say, "Who will cross over to us across the sea and bring it to us, and let us hear it, and we will do it?"
14
For the word is very near to you, in your mouth and in your heart, to do it.
15
See, I have set before you today life and goodness, and death and evil.
16
Which I command you today, to love the LORD your God, to walk in His ways, and to keep His commandments and His statutes and His judgments, that you may live and multiply, and the LORD your God may bless you in the land that you go to possess.
17
And if your heart turns away and you do not listen, and you are drawn away and you worship other gods and serve them.
18
I have declared to you today that you will surely perish; you will not prolong your days on the land which you are crossing the Jordan to enter and possess.
19
I have called heaven and earth to witness against you today: I have set before you life and death, blessing and curse; therefore choose life, so that you and your descendants may live.
20
To love the Lord your God, to listen to His voice, and to cling to Him, for He is your life and the length of your days, to dwell upon the land which the Lord swore to your fathers, to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, to give to them.
