King James Version
Deuteronomy • Chapter 34
1
And Moses went up from the plains of Moab to Mount Nebo, to the top of Pisgah, which is opposite Jericho. And the Lord showed him all the land, the Gilead as far as Dan.
2
And all of Naphtali, and the land of Ephraim and Manasseh, and all the land of Judah to the last sea.
3
And the Negev and the plain of Jericho, the city of palm trees, as far as Zoar.
4
And the LORD said to me, "This is the land that I swore to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob, saying, 'To your offspring I will give it.' I have caused you to see it with your eyes, but you shall not cross over there."
5
And Moses, the servant of the Lord, died there in the land of Moab according to the word of the Lord.
6
And he buried him in the valley in the land of Moab, opposite Beth Peor, and no man knows his grave until this day.
7
And Moses was a hundred and twenty years old when he died; his eye was not dim, and his vigor did not abate.
8
And the children of Israel wept for Moses in the plains of Moab thirty days, and the days of weeping and mourning for Moses ended.
9
And Joshua son of Nun was full of the spirit of wisdom, for Moses had laid his hands on him, and the children of Israel listened to him and did as the Lord had commanded Moses.
10
And there has not arisen a prophet again in Israel like Moses, whom the LORD knew face to face.
11
To all the signs and wonders that the Lord sent to do in the land of Egypt to Pharaoh and to all his servants and to all his land.
12
And for all the strong hand and for all the great awe that Moses did before the eyes of all Israel.
