King James Version
Exodus • Chapter 29
1
And this is the thing that you shall do for them to consecrate them to serve as priests for Me: you shall take one young bull and two rams without blemish.
2
And you shall make unleavened bread and unleavened cakes mixed with oil, and unleavened wafers anointed with oil; fine flour of wheat you shall make them.
3
And you shall place them on one plate, and you shall bring them in the plate, and the ram and the two male lambs.
4
And you shall bring Aaron and his sons to the entrance of the tent of meeting, and you shall wash them with water.
5
And you shall take the garments and put on Aaron the tunic and the robe of the ephod and the ephod and the breastplate, and you shall bind to him with the lace of the ephod.
6
And you shall place the turban on his head, and you shall put the crown of holiness on the turban.
7
And you shall take the oil of anointing and pour it on his head, and you shall anoint him.
8
And you shall bring your sons and you shall clothe them with tunics.
9
And you shall gird them with belts, Aaron and his sons, and you shall put caps on them, and it shall be a priesthood for them as a statute forever, and you shall fill the hand of Aaron and the hand of his sons.
10
And you shall bring the bull before the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the bull.
11
And you shall slaughter the bull before the Lord at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
12
And you shall take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger, and all the blood you shall pour out at the base of the altar.
13
And you shall take all the fat that covers the entrails and the kidneys, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, and you shall burn it on the altar.
14
And the flesh of the bull and its skin and its offal you shall burn with fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering.
15
And you shall take one ram and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.
16
And you shall slaughter the ram, and you shall take its blood and sprinkle it on the altar all around.
17
And you shall cut the ram into its pieces, and you shall wash its innards and its legs, and you shall put them on the pieces and on its head.
18
And you shall offer the whole ram on the altar as a burnt offering; it is a pleasing aroma, an offering made by fire to the Lord.
19
And you shall take the second ram, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the ram.
20
And you shall slaughter the ram and take some of its blood and put it on the lobe of Aaron’s ear and on the lobe of the right ear of his sons and on the thumb of their right hand and on the big toe of their right foot, and you shall sprinkle the blood on the altar all around.
21
And you shall take from the blood that is on the altar and from the anointing oil, and you shall sprinkle it on Aaron and on his garments and on his sons and on the garments of his sons with him, and he shall be holy, and his garments and his sons and the garments of his sons with him shall be holy.
22
And you shall take from the ram the fat and the lobe, and the fat that covers the innards, and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, and the right thigh, for he is a ram of consecration.
23
And one cake of bread and one cake of oil and one wafer from the dish of the unleavened bread that is before the LORD.
24
And you shall put all of it on the hands of Aaron and on the hands of his sons, and you shall wave them as a wave offering before the Lord.
25
And you shall take them from their hand and shall offer them on the altar upon the burnt offering for a soothing aroma before the Lord; it is an offering by fire to the Lord.
26
And you shall take the breast from the ram of the ordinations that is for Aaron, and you shall wave it as a wave offering before the Lord, and it shall be yours for a portion.
27
And you shall consecrate the breast of the wave offering and the thigh of the heave offering, which was waved and elevated from the ram of the consecrations, which belonged to Aaron and to his sons.
28
And it shall be for Aaron and his sons a statute forever from the children of Israel, for it is a contribution; and the contribution shall be from the children of Israel from the sacrifices of their peace offerings, their contribution to the Lord.
29
And the garments of the holy one that belong to Aaron shall be for his sons after him, to be anointed in them and to fill their hands with them.
30
The priest shall wear them seven days when he comes into the tent of meeting to minister in the sanctuary.
31
And you shall take the ram of the offerings, and you shall boil its flesh in a holy place.
32
And Aaron and his sons shall eat the flesh of the ram and the bread that is in the basket at the entrance of the Tent of Meeting.
33
And they shall eat that which has been offered for the fulfillment of their hands to consecrate them, and a stranger shall not eat it, for it is holy.
34
And if there is leftover from the flesh of the consecrated offerings and from the bread until morning, you shall burn what is left in the fire; it shall not be eaten, for it is holy.
35
And you shall do to Aaron and his sons as all that I have commanded you; seven days you shall fill their hands.
36
And you shall make a sin offering for the day upon the atonements, and you shall purify the altar with your atonement for me, and you shall anoint it for its Sanctification.
37
For seven days you shall make atonement for the altar and you shall consecrate it, and the altar shall be most holy; whoever touches the altar shall be holy.
38
And this is what you shall do on the altar: two yearling lambs each day, continually.
39
You shall prepare one lamb in the morning and the second lamb you shall prepare between the evenings.
40
And you shall offer a grain offering mixed with olive oil, a quarter of a hin, and a drink offering of a quarter of a hin of wine for the one lamb.
41
And the second lamb you shall make between the evenings, as the grain offering of the morning and its drink offering you shall make for a pleasing aroma, an offering by fire to the LORD.
42
A regular burnt offering for your generations at the entrance of the tent of meeting before the LORD, where I will meet with you to speak there to you.
43
And I will be made known there to the children of Israel, and I will be sanctified by my glory.
44
And I will sanctify the Tent of Meeting and the altar, and I will sanctify Aaron and his sons to be priests for Me.
45
And I will dwell among the children of Israel, and I will be to them a God.
46
And they will know that I am the LORD their God who brought them out of the land of Egypt to dwell among them; I am the LORD their God.
