King James Version

Job • Chapter 37

1 Even for this, my heart will tremble and it will depart from its place. 2 Hear, a sound is heard in rage, and the whisper goes out from his mouth. 3 Under all the heavens, it will shine, and its light upon the wings of the earth. 4 After me, a voice will roar; it will thunder in the voice of his majesty, and they will not be delayed, for his voice will be heard. 5 God will thunder with His voice, doing wonders; great things, and we will not know. 6 For the snow will say, "Behold, the land," and the rain is a downpour, and the rain of might. 7 In the hand of every man will be his knowledge of all men’s actions. 8 And the living creature shall come in the evening, and in its dwelling places it shall reside. 9 From the room you will come, a storm, and from the corners, cold. 10 From the breath of God, he will give a great wind and the expanse of waters in the deep. 11 Even in his anger, he will cause a cloud to disperse. 12 And he causes the events to turn by my schemes and by my strategies to accomplish all that he commands upon the face of the earth. 13 If for a tribe, if for His land, if for kindness He will find her. 14 Listen to this, Job; stand and consider the wonders of God. 15 Do you know that a god will be upon them and will manifest the light of his cloud? 16 Do you know of the wonders of God, the perfect in knowledge? 17 In your garments are warm in the calm land from the south. 18 The firmament with strong heavens is like a solid wall. 19 Make us know what we should say to Him; we cannot arrange our words in the presence of darkness. 20 He will tell him that I will speak if a man has said that he will be absorbed. 21 And now they have not seen light; it is in the heavens, and a spirit passed over and cleansed them. 22 From the north, gold will come to you, O awesome God, glory. 23 The Almighty cannot be found; His power is great, and justice and plenty of righteousness will not answer. 24 Therefore, men will fear; no wise men will see it.
