King James Version
Job • Chapter 8
1
And Bildad the Shuhite answered and said.
2
Until when will you speak these things, and the spirit of a mighty one be the words of your mouth?
3
God will twist justice, and if Almighty will twist righteousness.
4
If your sons sin against Him and He sends them away by the hand of their offense.
5
If you will seek to God and plead with Shaddai.
6
If you are pure and upright, surely now He will awaken against you and will make your righteousness pay.
7

14
Which he will remove his wealth, and the house of the spider is his refuge.
15
He will lean on his house and will not stand; he will hold to it and will not rise.
16
He is wet before the sun, and upon his garden, his shoots will come out.
17
On the slope of my roots, they will be surrounded by a house of stones.
18
If they swallow him from his place and deny him, I have not seen you.
19
Behold, He is the joy of His way, and from the dust others will grow.
20
Indeed, God will not reject a people and He will not hold fast to the hand of the wicked.
21
Until your mouth is filled with laughter and your lips with shout.
22
Your haters will be clothed with shame, and the tents of the wicked will be no more.
