Psalms • Chapter 120
1
A song of ascents. To the Lord, in my distress, I called, and He answered me.
2
O Lord, save my soul from a lying lip and a deceitful tongue.
3
What will He give to you, and what will He add to you, tongue of deceit?
4
The arrows of the mighty are sharp, with coals of broom.
5
Woe is me, for I have dwelt with Meshech; I have settled with the tents of Kedar.
6
I am greatly troubled; my soul is among those who hate peace.
7
I am peace, but when I speak, they are for war.
