King James Version
Psalms • Chapter 129
1
A song of ascents: "From my youth, Israel will say, 'I have been greatly oppressed.'"
2
Many have oppressed me from my youth; yet they have not prevailed against me.
3
On my back, the plowmen plowed; they prolonged their furrows for them.
4
The Lord is righteous; He cuts off the cords of the wicked.
5
Let them be ashamed and turn back, all who hate Zion.
6
Let them be like the greenery of rooftops that withers before it produces.
7
He does not fill his hand with a thorn and his outer garment with a net.
8
And the ones passing by did not say, "The blessing of Yahweh be upon you"; we blessed you in the name of Yahweh.
