King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 21

1 For the conductor, a psalm of David. 2 The Lord will rejoice in your strength, O king, and in your salvation how greatly he will rejoice. 3 You have given him the desire of his heart, and you have not withheld the request of his lips. Selah. 4 For you will place upon him blessings of goodness; you will set a crown of fine gold on his head. 5 Life you asked from Him; you gave it to him, length of days forever and ever. 6 Great is Your glory in Your salvation; honor and majesty You will bestow upon Him. 7 For you will set blessings forever, you will make your face shine with joy. 8 For the king trusts in the LORD and in the supreme kindness; he will not be moved. 9 You will find your hand against all your enemies; your right hand will find your haters. 10 You will set up a fire like a furnace at the time of Your presence, O Lord; in Your anger it will consume them, and they will be burned with fire. 11 You will destroy the fruit of the land, and the seed of the children of mankind. 12 For they have plotted evil against you; they devise a wicked scheme, but they will not succeed. 13 For you will set your mouth in your strings; you will arrange upon their faces.
