King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 30

1 A psalm, a song for the dedication of the house of David. 2 I will exalt you, Yahweh, for you have lifted me up and not let my enemies rejoice over me. 3 The LORD my God, I cried out to You, and You healed me. 4 O Lord, You have brought up my soul from Sheol; You have kept me alive from those going down to the pit. 5 Sing to the LORD, you His saints, and give thanks to His holy name. 6 For a moment in His anger, life is in His favor; in the evening, we may lie down in weeping, but in the morning, there is joy. 7 And I said, "In my ease, I shall never be moved." 8 Lord, in your will, you have established a strong mountain; you have hidden your face; I became dismayed. 9 To You, O LORD, I call, and to my Lord, I seek mercy. 10 What benefit is there in my blood when I go down to the pit? Will you declare your truth? 11 Hear, O Lord, and be gracious to me, O Lord; be my helper. 12 You have turned my mourning into dancing for me; you have taken off my sackcloth and clothed me with joy.
