King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 58

1 For the conductor; do not destroy; a psalm of David. 2 Indeed, you speak righteousness; you judge uprightly, O sons of man. 3 Even in the heart of the land, your hands will be lifted in injustice. 4 The wicked are estranged from the womb; they go astray from birth, speaking lies. 5 The wrath of him who is like the image of the wrath of a serpent, like a deaf viper that stops its ears. 6 Which does not listen to the voice of whisperers, joining wise friends. 7 God has destroyed their teeth, the mouths of them, and like lions, the Lord will break them. 8 They will be rejected like water; they will walk away; like a bow they will be broken, as if they were disdained. 9 Like the fiery whirlpool goes, the falls of the wife; behold, they have not seen the sun. 10 Before we understand your sorrows, a thorn like a living thing, like the fury of our storm. 11 The righteous will rejoice because he has seen vengeance; he will wash his feet in the blood of the wicked.
