King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 66

1 For the conductor, a song, a psalm: Shout joyfully to God, all the earth. 2 Sing to His glory; assign glory to His praise. 3 Say to God, "How awesome are your deeds! Because of your great power, your enemies will feign obedience to you." 4 All the earth shall worship you and sing praises to you; they shall sing praises to your name. Selah. 5 Come and see the works of God; terrifying is His doing toward the children of man. 6 He turned the sea into dry land; in the river they shall pass through on foot; there we rejoiced in him. 7 He rules with His might forever; my eyes see among the nations; the rebellious will not lift themselves up; let them be brought low forever. 8 Bless, O God, our peoples, and let them hear the voice of His praise. 9 He placed our soul in life and did not give our feet to slip. 10 For You have tested us, O God; You have refined us like silver. 11 Have you brought us into the trap that you have set for us at our waists? 12 You have made mankind ride; we came through fire and water, and you brought us out to abundance. 13 I will come to your house to fulfill my vows to you. 14 That which my lips have opened and I have spoken in my distress. 15 I will bring burnt offerings of fattened animals with the smoke of rams; I will offer bulls with goats. Selah. 16 Come, listen, and I will tell of all the God-fearers what He has done for my soul. 17 To You, I have called, and I will lift up under my tongue. 18 If I have seen wickedness in my heart, the Lord will not hear. 19 Indeed, God has heard; He has listened to the voice of my prayer. 20 Blessed is God who has not removed my prayer and His kindness from me.
