King James Version

Psalms • Chapter 92

1 A psalm, a song for the Sabbath day. 2 It is good to give thanks to the Lord and to sing praise to your name, O Most High. 3 To declare your lovingkindness in the morning and your faithfulness at night. 4 On the ten-stringed instrument and on the harp, on the lyre with a sound of melody. 5 For I will rejoice in the work of Your hands. 6 How great are your works, O Lord! Your thoughts are very deep. 7 A fool does not know, and a simpleton does not understand this. 8 The wicked flourish like grass, and all workers of iniquity blossom to be destroyed forever. 9 But You are exalted forever, O Lord. 10 For behold, your enemies, O Lord, for behold, your enemies will perish; all workers of iniquity will be dispersed. 11 And you will raise my horn like that of a wild ox; I am anointed with fresh oil. 12 And my eyes look at the ones who rise against me; my ears will hear. 13 The righteous will flourish like a palm tree; he will grow like a cedar in Lebanon. 14 Planted in the house of the LORD, in the courtyards of our God, they will flourish. 15 They will still bear fruit in old age; they will be full of sap and very green.
