6 See, you are basing your hope on that broken rod of Egypt, which will go into a man's hand if he makes use of it for a support; for so is Pharaoh, king of Egypt, to all who put their faith in him.

הִנֵּ֣ה בָטַ֡חְתָּ עַל מִשְׁעֶנֶת֩ הַ/קָּנֶ֨ה הָ/רָצ֤וּץ הַ/זֶּה֙ עַל מִצְרַ֔יִם אֲשֶׁ֨ר יִסָּמֵ֥ךְ אִישׁ֙ עָלָ֔י/ו וּ/בָ֥א בְ/כַפּ֖/וֹ וּ/נְקָבָ֑/הּ כֵּ֚ן פַּרְעֹ֣ה מֶֽלֶךְ מִצְרַ֔יִם לְ/כָֽל הַ/בֹּטְחִ֖ים עָלָֽי/ו

English Translation

Behold, you have trusted in the staff of this bruised reed on Egypt, on which if a man leans, it will go into his hand and pierce it; thus is Pharaoh king of Egypt to all who trust in him.
