17 But no such payment may be made for the first birth of an ox or a sheep or a goat; these are holy: their blood is to be dropped on the altar, and their fat burned for an offering made by fire, a sweet smell to the Lord.

אַ֣ךְ בְּֽכוֹר שׁ֡וֹר אֽוֹ בְכ֨וֹר כֶּ֜שֶׂב אֽוֹ בְכ֥וֹר עֵ֛ז לֹ֥א תִפְדֶּ֖ה קֹ֣דֶשׁ הֵ֑ם אֶת דָּמָ֞/ם תִּזְרֹ֤ק עַל הַ/מִּזְבֵּ֨חַ֙ וְ/אֶת חֶלְבָּ֣/ם תַּקְטִ֔יר אִשֶּׁ֛ה לְ/רֵ֥יחַ נִיחֹ֖חַ לַֽ/יהוָֽה

English Translation

Only a firstborn of an ox or a firstborn of a sheep or a firstborn of a goat you shall not redeem; they are holy. Their blood you shall sprinkle on the altar, and their fat you shall burn as an offering by fire, a pleasing aroma to the Lord.
