9 For we were slaves, but in his unfailing love our God (Elohim) did not abandon us in our slavery. Instead, he caused the kings of Persia to treat us favorably. He revived us so we could rebuild the Temple of our God (Elohim) and repair its ruins. He has given us a protective wall in Judah and Jerusalem.<br>

English Translation

For we are servants, and we have not forsaken our God, and He has extended kindness to us before the kings of Persia, to give us life, to raise up the house of our God, and to repair its ruins and to provide us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.
