16 Give glory to the LORD your God (Elohim) before it is too late. Acknowledge him before he brings darkness upon you, causing you to stumble and fall on the darkening mountains. For then, when you look for light, you will find only terrible darkness and gloom.

תְּנוּ֩ לַ/יהוָ֨ה אֱלֹהֵי/כֶ֤ם כָּבוֹד֙ בְּ/טֶ֣רֶם יַחְשִׁ֔ךְ וּ/בְ/טֶ֛רֶם יִֽתְנַגְּפ֥וּ רַגְלֵי/כֶ֖ם עַל הָ֣רֵי נָ֑שֶׁף וְ/קִוִּיתֶ֤ם לְ/אוֹר֙ וְ/שָׂמָ֣/הּ לְ/צַלְמָ֔וֶת ישית וְ/שִׁ֖ית לַ/עֲרָפֶֽל

English Translation

Give glory to the LORD your God before He causes darkness, and before your feet stumble on the mountains of twilight; and you will hope for light, and He will set it for death's shadow and appoint it for the gloom.
