Numbers 25:13

and it shall be unto him, and to his seed after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was jealous for his God (Elohim), and made atonement for the children of Israel.

Now the name of the man of Israel that was slain, who was slain with the Midianitish woman, was Zimri, the son of Salu, a prince of a fathers’ house among the Simeonites.

The Lord told Moses,

It shall be to him, and to his offspring after him, the covenant of an everlasting priesthood, because he was jealous for his God (Elohim), and made atonement for the children of Israel.’”

And he shall haue it, and his seede after him, euen the couenant of the priestes office for euer, because he was zealous for his God (Elohim), and hath made an atonement for the children of Israel.

And he shall have it, and his seed after him, even the covenant of an everlasting priesthood; because he was zealous for his God (Elohim), and made an atonement for the children of Israel.

and it has been to him and to his seed after him for a covenant of a continuous priesthood, because that he has been zealous for his God (Elohim), and makes atonement for the sons of Israel.”

In this covenant, I give him and his descendants a permanent right to the priesthood, for in his zeal for me, his God (Elohim), he purified the people of Israel, making them right with me. ”
