Joshua 4:23

For Jehovah your God (Elohim) dried up the waters of the Jordan from before you, until ye were passed over, as Jehovah your God (Elohim) did to the Red Sea, which he dried up from before us, until we were passed over;

The Lord your God (Elohim) drying up the waters thereof in your sight, until you passed over:

He did this so everyone on earth would know how powerful the Lord is, and so that you might be in awe of the Lord your God (Elohim) forever.”

For the LORD your God (Elohim) dried up the river right before your eyes, and he kept it dry until you were all across, just as he did at the Red Sea when he dried it up until we had all crossed over.
