5 And the eye of their God (Elohim) hath been upon the elders of the Jews, and they have not caused them to cease till the matter goeth to Darius, and then they send back a letter concerning this thing.

וְ/עֵ֣ין אֱלָהֲ/הֹ֗ם הֲוָת֙ עַל שָׂבֵ֣י יְהוּדָיֵ֔/א וְ/לָא בַטִּ֣לוּ הִמּ֔וֹ עַד טַעְמָ֖/א לְ/דָרְיָ֣וֶשׁ יְהָ֑ךְ וֶ/אֱדַ֛יִן יְתִיב֥וּן נִשְׁתְּוָנָ֖/א עַל דְּנָֽה

English Translation

And the eyes of their god were upon the abundance of Judah, and they did not cease until the taste of their makeshift feasting was made known, and then they would sit in agreement regarding this.
