John 18:24

Annas therefore sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

Annas had sent him bound unto Caiaphas the high priest.

Then Annas sent him chained to Caiaphas, the high priest.

Annas [then] had sent him bound to Caiaphas the high priest.

Now Simon Peter was standing and warming himself. They said therefore unto him, Art thou also one of his disciples? He denied, and said, I am not.

As Simon Peter stood warming himself by the fire, the people there asked him, “Aren't you one of his disciples?” Peter denied it and said, “No, I'm not.”

Annas sent him bound to Caiaphas, the high priest.
