Job 9:29

I shall be condemned; Why then do I labor in vain?

You will not let me be clear of sin! why then do I take trouble for nothing?

But if so also I am wicked, why have I laboured in vain?

If only there was an arbitrator who could bring us both together!

I shall be condemned. Why then do I labor in vain?

If I be wicked, why labour I thus in vaine?

I become wicked; why is this? I labor in vain.

Whatever happens, I will be found guilty.<br>So what’s the use of trying?<br>
