εἰ ἐκείνους εἶπεν θεοὺς πρὸς οὓς ὁ λόγος τοῦ θεοῦ ἐγένετο, καὶ οὐ δύναται λυθῆναι ἡ γραφή,
English Translation
If he called them gods to whom the word of God came, and the scripture cannot be broken,

If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God (Elohim) came (and the scripture cannot be broken),

If he called them gods, unto whom the word of God (Elohim) came (and the scripture cannot be broken),

If he said they were gods, to whom the word of God (Elohim) came (and the Writings may not be broken),

If he called *them* gods to whom the word of God (Elohim) came (and the scripture cannot be broken),

If he called them gods, to whom to word of God (Elohim) was spoken, and the scripture cannot be broken;

And he went away again beyond Jordan into the place where John was at the first baptizing; and there he abode.

Many people came to him, and they said, “John didn't perform miracles, but everything he said about this man has come true.”
