5 I thought it necessary therefore to beg the brethren that they would come to you, and complete beforehand your fore-announced blessing, that this may be ready thus as blessing, and not as got out of you.

ἀναγκαῖον οὖν ἡγησάμην παρακαλέσαι τοὺς ἀδελφοὺς ἵνα προέλθωσιν ⸀εἰς ὑμᾶς καὶ προκαταρτίσωσι τὴν ⸀προεπηγγελμένην εὐλογίαν ὑμῶν, ταύτην ἑτοίμην εἶναι οὕτως ὡς εὐλογίαν καὶ μὴ ὡς πλεονεξίαν.

Therefore, I thought it necessary to encourage the brothers to go ahead to you and prepare your promised blessing, to be ready as a blessing and not as greed.
