Exodus 18:21

Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God (Elohim), men of truth, hating unjust gain; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

But do thou provide among all the people able men, such as fear God (Elohim), men of truth, hating covetousness; and place [them] over them, chiefs of thousands, chiefs of hundreds, chiefs of fifties, and chiefs of tens,

And provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God (Elohim), in whom there is truth, and that hate avarice, and appoint of them rulers of thousands, and of hundreds, and of fifties, and of tens.

Moreover thou shalt provide out of all the people able men, such as fear God (Elohim), men of truth, hating unjust gain; and place such over them, to be rulers of thousands, rulers of hundreds, rulers of fifties, and rulers of tens:

These men are to judge the people on a continuing basis. Major issues they can bring to you, but they can decide all the small matters themselves. In this way your burden will be made lighter as they share it with you.

Moreouer, prouide thou among al the people men of courage, fearing God (Elohim), men dealing truely, hating couetousnesse: and appoynt such ouer them to be rulers ouer thousandes, rulers ouer hundreths, rulers ouer fifties, and rulers ouer tennes.

And you provide out of all the people men of ability, fearing God (Elohim), men of truth, hating dishonest gain, and have placed these over them for heads of thousands, heads of hundreds, heads of fifties, and heads of tens,

But select from all the people some capable, honest men who fear God (Elohim) and hate bribes. Appoint them as leaders over groups of one thousand, one hundred, fifty, and ten.
