εἰ γὰρ ἐκ νόμου ἡ κληρονομία, οὐκέτι ἐξ ἐπαγγελίας· τῷ δὲ Ἀβραὰμ δι’ ἐπαγγελίας κεχάρισται ὁ θεός.
English Translation
For if the inheritance is from the law, it is no longer from the promise; but God granted it to Abraham by promise.

For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise: but God (Elohim) hath granted it to Abraham by promise.

For if the inheritance is of the law, it is no more of promise: but God (Elohim) hath granted it to Abraham by promise.

Because if the heritage is by the law, it is no longer dependent on the word of God (Elohim); but God (Elohim) gave it to Abraham by his word.

For if the inheritance [be] on the principle of law, [it is] no longer on the principle of promise; but God (Elohim) gave it in Grace to Abraham by promise.

For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise. But God (Elohim) gave it to Abraham by promise.

What then is the law? It was added because of transgressions, till the seed should come to whom the promise hath been made; and it was ordained through angels by the hand of a mediator.

But a mediator isn't needed when there's only one person involved. And God (Elohim) is one!
