40 I will make an everlasting agreement with them: I'm never going to stop doing them good and I will help them to respect me so that they won't ever abandon me.

וְ/כָרַתִּ֤י לָ/הֶם֙ בְּרִ֣ית עוֹלָ֔ם אֲשֶׁ֤ר לֹֽא אָשׁוּב֙ מֵ/אַ֣חֲרֵי/הֶ֔ם לְ/הֵיטִיבִ֖/י אוֹתָ֑/ם וְ/אֶת יִרְאָתִ/י֙ אֶתֵּ֣ן בִּ/לְבָבָ֔/ם לְ/בִלְתִּ֖י ס֥וּר מֵ/עָלָֽ/י

English Translation

And I will cut a covenant with them for an everlasting covenant, that I will not turn back from doing good to them, and I will put my fear in their hearts so that they do not turn away from me.
