15 thou shalt in any wise set him king over thee, whom the LORD thy God (Elohim) shall choose: one from among thy brethren shalt thou set king over thee: thou mayest not put a foreigner over thee, which is not thy brother.

שׂ֣וֹם תָּשִׂ֤ים עָלֶ֨י/ךָ֙ מֶ֔לֶךְ אֲשֶׁ֥ר יִבְחַ֛ר יְהוָ֥ה אֱלֹהֶ֖י/ךָ בּ֑/וֹ מִ/קֶּ֣רֶב אַחֶ֗י/ךָ תָּשִׂ֤ים עָלֶ֨י/ךָ֙ מֶ֔לֶךְ לֹ֣א תוּכַ֗ל לָ/תֵ֤ת עָלֶ֨י/ךָ֙ אִ֣ישׁ נָכְרִ֔י אֲשֶׁ֥ר לֹֽא אָחִ֖י/ךָ הֽוּא

English Translation

You shall surely set a king over you whom the Lord your God chooses from among your brothers; you shall not set a foreign man over you who is not your brother.
