2 Samuel 2:27

And Joab said, As God (Elohim) liveth, if thou hadst not spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone away, nor followed every one his brother.

And Joab said, By the living God (Elohim), if you had not given the word, the people would have gone on attacking their countrymen till the morning.

And Joab said, [As] God (Elohim) liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.

And Joab said: As the Lord liveth, if thou hadst spoke sooner, even in the morning the people should have retired from pursuing after their brethren.

So Joab blew the trumpet, and all the people stood still, and pursued after Israel no more, neither fought they any more.

When Joab got back from chasing Abner, he gathered all the men together. Nineteen of David's men were missing in addition to Asahel.

Joab said, “As God (Elohim) lives, if you had not spoken, surely then in the morning the people would have gone away, and not each followed his brother.”

And Ioab sayde, As God (Elohim) liueth, if thou haddest not spoken, surely euen in the morning the people had departed euery one backe from his brother.

And Joab said, As God (Elohim) liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.

And Joab says, “God (Elohim) lives! For unless you had spoken, surely then from the morning each of the people had gone up from after his brother.”

And Joab said, As God (Elohim) liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.

Then Joab said, “God (Elohim) only knows what would have happened if you hadn’t spoken, for we would have chased you all night if necessary.”

And Joab said, As God (Elohim) liveth, unless thou hadst spoken, surely then in the morning the people had gone up every one from following his brother.

Joab said, “As God (Elohim) lives, if you had not spoken, surely then in the morning the people would have gone away, and not each followed his brother.”
