ἀκούσας δὲ ὁ ἑκατοντάρχης προσελθὼν ⸂τῷ χιλιάρχῳ ἀπήγγειλεν⸃ λέγων· ⸀Τί μέλλεις ποιεῖν; ὁ γὰρ ἄνθρωπος οὗτος Ῥωμαῖός ἐστιν.
English Translation
And when the centurion heard this, he approached the commander and reported, saying, "What are you going to do? For this man is a Roman."

And when the centurion heard it, he went to the chief captain and told him, saying, What art thou about to do? for this man is a Roman.

And when the centurion heard it, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what thou art about to do: for this man is a Roman.

And hearing this, the man went to the chief captain and gave him an account of it, saying, What are you about to do? for this man is a Roman.

And the centurion, having heard it, went and reported it to the chiliarch, saying, What art thou going to do? for this man is a Roman.

Which the centurion hearing, went to the tribune, and told him, saying: What art thou about to do? For this man is a Roman citizen.

And the chief captain came, and said unto him, Tell me, art thou a Roman? And he said, Yea.

The commander came, and asked Paul, “Tell me, are you a Roman citizen?” Paul replied, “Yes I am.”

When the centurion heard it, he went to the commanding officer and told him, “Watch what you are about to do, for this man is a Roman!”

Nowe when the Centurion heard it, hee went, and tolde the chiefe captaine, saying, Take heede what thou doest: for this man is a Romane.

When the centurion heard that, he went and told the chief captain, saying, Take heed what thou doest: for this man is a Roman.

And the centurion having heard, having gone near to the chief captain, told, saying, “Take heed what you are about to do, for this man is a Roman”;

When the officer heard this, he went to the commander and asked, “What are you doing? This man is a Roman citizen!”
