Judges 20:27

And the children of Israel asked of Jehovah (for the ark of the covenant of God (Elohim) was there in those days,

and Phinehas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron, stood before it in those days,) saying, Shall I yet again go out to battle against the children of Benjamin my brother, or shall I cease? And the LORD said, Go up; for tomorrow I will deliver him into thine hand.

Ten thousand seasoned Israelite warriors attacked Gibeah, and the fighting was so intense the Benjamites didn't realize they were on the brink of disaster.

The children of Israel asked Yahweh (for the ark of the covenant of God (Elohim) was there in those days,

And the children of Israel enquired of the LORD, (for the ark of the covenant of God (Elohim) was there in those days,

And the sons of Israel ask of YHWH—and the Ark of the Covenant of God (Elohim) is there in those days,

And the children of Israel enquired of the LORD, (for the ark of the covenant of God (Elohim) was there in those days,

The Israelites went up seeking direction from the LORD. (In those days the Ark of the Covenant of God (Elohim) was in Bethel,

And the children of Israel inquired of the LORD, (for the ark of the covenant of God (Elohim) was there in those days,

The children of Israel asked Yahweh (for the ark of the covenant of God (Elohim) was there in those days,

The children of Israel asked the LORD (for the ark of the covenant of God (Elohim) was there in those days,

And the sons of Israel ask of Jehovah, -- and there [is] the ark of the covenant of God (Elohim) in those days,
