אֲדֹנִ֣/י הַ/מֶּ֗לֶךְ הֵרֵ֜עוּ הָ/אֲנָשִׁ֤ים הָ/אֵ֨לֶּה֙ אֵ֣ת כָּל אֲשֶׁ֤ר עָשׂוּ֙ לְ/יִרְמְיָ֣הוּ הַ/נָּבִ֔יא אֵ֥ת אֲשֶׁר הִשְׁלִ֖יכוּ אֶל הַ/בּ֑וֹר וַ/יָּ֤מָת תַּחְתָּי/ו֙ מִ/פְּנֵ֣י הָֽ/רָעָ֔ב כִּ֣י אֵ֥ין הַ/לֶּ֛חֶם ע֖וֹד בָּ/עִֽיר
English Translation
My lord, the king, has acted wickedly toward these men, all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, that they threw him into the pit, and he will die there because of the famine, for there is no more bread in the city.

My lord the king, these men have done evil in all that they have done to Jeremiah the prophet, whom they have cast into the dungeon; and he is like to die in the place where he is, because of the famine; for there is no more bread in the city.

So the king gave the order to Ebed-melech the Cushite, “Take thirty men with you and go and pull Jeremiah the prophet out of the cistern before he dies.”
