Deuteronomy 14:1

Ye are the children of Jehovah your God (Elohim): ye shall not cut yourselves, nor make any baldness between your eyes for the dead.

You are the children of the Lord your God (Elohim). Don't mutilate yourselves or shave your forehead like pagans do when they mourn the dead,
