10 For before those days there was no hire for man, nor any hire for beast; neither was there any peace to him that went out or came in, because of the adversary: for I set all men every one against his neighbor.

כִּ֗י לִ/פְנֵי֙ הַ/יָּמִ֣ים הָ/הֵ֔ם שְׂכַ֤ר הָֽ/אָדָם֙ לֹ֣א נִֽהְיָ֔ה וּ/שְׂכַ֥ר הַ/בְּהֵמָ֖ה אֵינֶ֑/נָּה וְ/לַ/יּוֹצֵ֨א וְ/לַ/בָּ֤א אֵין שָׁלוֹם֙ מִן הַ/צָּ֔ר וַ/אֲשַׁלַּ֥ח אֶת כָּל הָ/אָדָ֖ם אִ֥ישׁ בְּ/רֵעֵֽ/הוּ

English Translation

For before those days, the reward of man did not exist, and the reward of the animal is not there, and there is no peace for the one going out and for the one coming in from the distress, and I will send away all mankind, each man to his friend.
