Nehemiah 13:22

And I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember unto me, O my God (Elohim), this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy lovingkindness.

Wasn't it marriages like these that made King Solomon of Israel sin? There wasn't a king in any nation like him. God (Elohim) loved him, and God (Elohim) made him king over all Israel, but even he was made to sin by foreign women.
