οἵ ⸀τε βάρβαροι παρεῖχον οὐ τὴν τυχοῦσαν φιλανθρωπίαν ἡμῖν, ⸀ἅψαντες γὰρ πυρὰν προσελάβοντο πάντας ἡμᾶς διὰ τὸν ὑετὸν τὸν ἐφεστῶτα καὶ διὰ τὸ ψῦχος.
English Translation
The barbarians offered us not the usual kindness, for having kindled a fire, they welcomed us all because of the rain that was present and because of the cold.

And the barbarians showed us no common kindness; for they kindled a fire, and received us all, because of the present rain, and because of the cold.
