9 He that abideth in this city shall die by the sword, and by the famine, and by the pestilence; but he that goeth out, and passeth over to the Chaldeans that besiege you, he shall live, and his life shall be unto him for a prey.

הַ/יֹּשֵׁב֙ בָּ/עִ֣יר הַ/זֹּ֔את יָמ֕וּת בַּ/חֶ֖רֶב וּ/בָ/רָעָ֣ב וּ/בַ/דָּ֑בֶר וְ/הַ/יּוֹצֵא֩ וְ/נָפַ֨ל עַל הַ/כַּשְׂדִּ֜ים הַ/צָּרִ֤ים עֲלֵי/כֶם֙ יחיה וְ/חָיָ֔ה וְ/הָֽיְתָה לּ֥/וֹ נַפְשׁ֖/וֹ לְ/שָׁלָֽל

English Translation

The one who dwells in this city shall die by the sword and by famine and by plague, but the one who goes out and falls on the Chaldeans who besiege you shall live, and his life shall be for him as a spoil.
