χωρὶς δὲ πίστεως ἀδύνατον εὐαρεστῆσαι, πιστεῦσαι γὰρ δεῖ τὸν προσερχόμενον τῷ θεῷ ὅτι ἔστιν καὶ τοῖς ἐκζητοῦσιν αὐτὸν μισθαποδότης γίνεται.
English Translation
But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He exists and that He rewards those who diligently seek Him.

And without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing [unto him]; for he that cometh to God (Elohim) must believe that he is, and [that] he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

and without faith it is impossible to be well-pleasing unto him; for he that cometh to God (Elohim) must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that seek after him.

And without faith it is not possible to be well-pleasing to him, for it is necessary for anyone who comes to God (Elohim) to have the belief that God (Elohim) is, and that he is a rewarder of all those who make a serious search for him.

By faith Noah, being warned of God (Elohim) concerning things not seen as yet, moved with godly fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house; through which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is according to faith.

Noah trusted God (Elohim), and was warned by him about things that had never happened before. Because Noah paid serious attention to what God (Elohim) said, he constructed an ark to save his family. By trusting God (Elohim), Noah showed that the world was wrong, and received the reward of being set right by God (Elohim).

Without faith it is impossible to be well pleasing to him, for he who comes to God (Elohim) must believe that he exists, and that he is a rewarder of those who seek him.
