For though we were bondmen, yet our God (Elohim) hath not forsaken vs in our bondage, but hath enclined mercy vnto vs in the sight of the Kings of Persia, to giue vs life, and to erect the house of our God (Elohim), and to redresse the places thereof, and to giue vs a wall in Iudah and in Ierusalem.

For we are servants, and we have not forsaken our God, and He has extended kindness to us before the kings of Persia, to give us life, to raise up the house of our God, and to repair its ruins and to provide us a wall in Judah and Jerusalem.
