Luke 7:29

And all the people when they heard, and the publicans, justified God (Elohim), being baptized with the baptism of John.

They're like children sitting in the market who tell one another, ‘We played the flute for you but you didn't dance; we sang sad songs but you didn't cry.’

When all the people and the tax collectors heard this, they declared God (Elohim) to be just, having been baptized with John’s baptism.

And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God (Elohim), being baptized with the baptism of John.

And all the people having heard, and the tax collectors, declared God (Elohim) righteous, having been immersed with the immersion of John,

And all the people that heard him, and the publicans, justified God (Elohim), being baptized with the baptism of John.

When they heard this, all the people — even the tax collectors — agreed that God (Elohim)’s way was right, for they had been baptized by John.
