English Translation
And the merchants and sellers of every sale outside of Jerusalem will stay overnight once or twice.

So the merchants and sellers of all kind of wares lodged without Jerusalem once or twice.

So the traders in all sorts of goods took their night's rest outside Jerusalem once or twice.

And the dealers and sellers of all kind of ware passed the night without Jerusalem once or twice.

So the merchants, and they that sold all kinds of wares, stayed without Jerusalem once or twice.

And I commanded the Levites that they should purify themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember unto me, O my God (Elohim), this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.

Half their children could only speak the language of Ashdod or that of another people, and didn't know how to speak the language of Judah.
