English Translation
And it happened when the Jew read three doors, and four he would tear with the scribe's knife and throw into the fire which is on the hearth until all the scroll was consumed in the fire which is on the hearth.

And it came to pass, when Jehudi had read three or four leaves, that [the king] cut it with the penknife, and cast it into the fire that was in the brazier, until all the roll was consumed in the fire that was in the brazier.
