21 Then Zedekiah the king commanded that they should commit Jeremiah into the court of the prison, and that they should give him daily a piece of bread out of the bakers street, until all the bread in the city were spent. Thus Jeremiah remained in the court of the prison.

וַ/יְצַוֶּ֞ה הַ/מֶּ֣לֶךְ צִדְקִיָּ֗הוּ וַ/יַּפְקִ֣דוּ אֶֽת יִרְמְיָהוּ֮ בַּ/חֲצַ֣ר הַ/מַּטָּרָה֒ וְ/נָתֹן֩ ל֨/וֹ כִכַּר לֶ֤חֶם לַ/יּוֹם֙ מִ/ח֣וּץ הָ/אֹפִ֔ים עַד תֹּ֥ם כָּל הַ/לֶּ֖חֶם מִן הָ/עִ֑יר וַ/יֵּ֣שֶׁב יִרְמְיָ֔הוּ בַּ/חֲצַ֖ר הַ/מַּטָּרָֽה

English Translation

And the king Zedekiah commanded, and they appointed Jeremiah in the courtyard of the guard, and gave him a loaf of bread for the day from outside the city until all the bread was gone from the city, and Jeremiah sat in the courtyard of the guard.
