Verse 15

Ezra 4:15

New Living Translation

15 We suggest that a search be made in your ancestors’ records, where you will discover what a rebellious city this has been in the past. In fact, it was destroyed because of its long and troublesome history of revolt against the kings and countries who controlled it.<br>

English Translation
Whoever will read in the book of my remembrance, I will cause you to remember that your ancestors and you will be known, and you will know that the city of Marada will be a refuge for kings and provinces, and I will establish servants within it from the day of eternity upon this city which has been destroyed.
