29 I have begun to punish Jerusalem, the city that bears my name. Now should I let you go unpunished? No, you will not escape disaster. I will call for war against all the nations of the earth. I, the LORD of Heaven’s Armies, have spoken!’

כִּי֩ הִנֵּ֨ה בָ/עִ֜יר אֲשֶׁ֧ר נִֽקְרָא שְׁמִ֣/י עָלֶ֗י/הָ אָֽנֹכִי֙ מֵחֵ֣ל לְ/הָרַ֔ע וְ/אַתֶּ֖ם הִנָּקֵ֣ה תִנָּק֑וּ לֹ֣א תִנָּק֔וּ כִּ֣י חֶ֗רֶב אֲנִ֤י קֹרֵא֙ עַל כָּל יֹשְׁבֵ֣י הָ/אָ֔רֶץ נְאֻ֖ם יְהוָ֥ה צְבָאֽוֹת

English Translation

For behold, in the city which is called by My name, I begin to bring evil, and you, you shall surely be saved; but you shall not be saved, for I am calling a sword against all the inhabitants of the earth, says the LORD of hosts.
