Mark 8:6

And he commandeth the multitude to sit down on the ground: and he took the seven loaves, and having given thanks, he brake, and gave to his disciples, to set before them; and they set them before the multitude.

So Yashua (Jesus) told all the people to sit down on the ground. Then he took the seven loaves, thanked God (Elohim) for them, and broke them into pieces. He gave them to his disciples, who distributed the bread to the crowd.
