I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, If ye find my beloved, That ye tell him, that I am sick from love.

Women of Jerusalem, promise me if you find my love and wonder what you should tell him, tell him I am weak with love.

The watchmen that went about the citie, founde me: they smote me and wounded me: the watchmen of the walles tooke away my vaile from me.
