English Translation
And they came to Marah, and they could not drink water from Marah because it was bitter; therefore, it was named Marah.

And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.

And when they came to Marah, they could not drink of the waters of Marah, for they were bitter: therefore the name of it was called Marah.

And when they came to Marah, the water was no good for drinking, for the waters of Marah were bitter, which is why it was named Marah.
