Romans 4:5

But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is reckoned for righteousness.

But God (Elohim), who makes sinners right, considers them as right not because they've worked for it but because they trust in him. This is why

But to him who doesn’t work, but believes in him who justifies the ungodly, his faith is accounted for righteousness.

But to him that worketh not, but beleeueth in him that iustifieth the vngodly, his faith is counted for righteousnesse.

and to him who is not working, and is believing on Him who is declaring righteous the impious, his faith is reckoned for righteousness—
