Deuteronomy 4:22

but I must die in this land, I must not go over the Jordan; but ye shall go over, and possess that good land.

But death is to come to me in this land, I may not go over Jordan: but you will go over and take that good land for your heritage.

Behold I die in this land, I shall not pass over the Jordan: you shall pass, and possess the goodly land.

Take heed unto yourselves, lest ye forget the covenant of the LORD your God (Elohim), which he made with you, and make you a graven image in the form of any thing which the LORD thy God (Elohim) hath forbidden thee.

After you have been living in the country for a long time and have had children and grandchildren, you may then spoil the relationship you have with the Lord and make an idol in some form. The Lord your God (Elohim) sees this as evil and it makes him angry.

For I must die in this land, and shall not go ouer Iorden: but ye shall goe ouer, and possesse that good land.

for I am dying in this land; I am not passing over the Jordan, but you are passing over and have possessed this good land.

You will cross the Jordan to occupy the land, but I will not. Instead, I will die here on the east side of the river.
