Deuteronomy 26:17

Thou hast avouched Jehovah this day to be thy God (Elohim), and that thou wouldest walk in his ways, and keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and hearken unto his voice:

Thou hast this day accepted Jehovah to be thy God (Elohim), and to walk in his ways, and keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and to hearken unto his voice;

This day the Lord thy God (Elohim) hath commanded thee to do these commandments and judgments: and to keep and fulfil them with all thy heart, and with all thy soul.

Today the Lord has announced that you are a special people who belong to him as he promised. He has announced that you are to keep all his commandments.

You have declared today that the LORD is your God (Elohim). And you have promised to walk in his ways, and to obey his decrees, commands, and regulations, and to do everything he tells you.
